FUND RAISER: (Instructions Below)
Dear Friends,
September 11, 2001 will be long remembered for it's horrors and heroics. While the world has changed drastically, the American fire service including your volunteer fire department remain a constant and will be the first to respond.
The outpouring of donations from our community to help others in the wake of the attacks was phenomenal and makes us proud to be able to serve our community in its time of need.
During these difficult financial times, we as your volunteer fire department still need and require your generosity in order to continue to serving our community as we have done in the past.
For 2001 your volunteer fire department responded 273 times for your calls for help. We as your volunteer fire department have contributed 12,000 hours of community service for fire, rescue, training, public service, work bees, and etc.
We are sad to report that emergency response calls continue to rise and with that so do our expenses. With your donations we should be able to offset these rising costs and continue to provide you the best possible service. Your help will continue to keep us...
EVER READY WHEN DUTY CALLS
Thank you,
Troy Volunteer Fire Department
